The meg 2: movie story
The first film told the story of a group of scientists encountering the titular gigantic prehistoric shark. The Meg is an adaptation of 1997’s Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror by author Steve Alten. Audiences were hooked, and the film saw a worldwide gross of more than $530 million. Based on those numbers, it makes sense that Warner Bros. Pictures would be eager to churn out a sequel, perhaps leading this to be the next blockbuster sci-fi/horror franchise.
Jonas Taylor leads a research team on an exploratory dive into the deepest depths of the ocean. Their voyage spirals into chaos when a malevolent mining operation threatens their mission and forces them into a high-stakes battle for survival. Pitted against colossal, prehistoric sharks and relentless environmental plunderers, they must outrun, outsmart and outswim their merciless predators.

What an absolute disappointment!!! The plot was boring, the cgi was downright cheap-looking. Overall a movie so poorly executed, that left me completely indifferent to the supposed highstaked danger. I honestly found myself counting down the minutes until the movie was over.

It was, in my opinion, better than the first.
Movie was just a fun movie. Pretty funny. Cgi is good. Has some plot holes. But overall a funny and entertaining shark movie. Continues the first one quite well. There aren't really any jump scares either. But if you like Jason Statham its must see.

I would say its quite good. 8/10 It is definitely exciting. LOVE Jason and Wujing! But i think the reason why so many people was disappointed is because how good Meg 1 was. Its a 100000/10 for me!
